Josh Gellers

Josh Gellers is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine specializing in global environmental politics. He graduated valedictorian and magna cum laude from the University of Florida, Honors Program with a BA in Political Science, a minor in Geography, and a certificate in International Relations. Josh spent the summer of 2005 studying European politics and culture at Universiteit Utrecht in the Netherlands. He also holds an MA from Columbia University in Climate and Society. Josh has worked at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration division, the Earth Institute of Columbia University, the Global Roundtable on Climate Change, and the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions. He has consulted for the United Nations Development Programme and Kinetix LLC, an environmental consulting firm in New York City.  Josh brings a much needed injection of youth perspectives on current issues onto the airwaves as host of "The DiscussAnt" on KUCI 88.9 FM in Irvine, airing Fridays from 9am-10am, PST.
